Its been a while since I visited my blog and it seems soooo ....... outdated!!!!! so just to keep it uptodate..... I thought of posting few of my travels post my Seoul trip. I did have an oppurtunity to travel to Hong Kong and was impressed to say the least its a polished version of Mumbai. Mumbai which is home to me and is the place for me. I did follow the regular tourist stuff, didn't have much spare time to deviate from the guide.... The first spot was to make it to the top of the hill which is sooo famously represented in most of HK pics.....

the hop of the hill is simply called "The Peak" :) ..... I took a Bus to the top .... it was a fun journey with great views on the way up..... It was a two level (double decker) ... similar to the once we have in Mumbai and it was fun to sit on the front seat and have a birds eye view of the valley at every turn :). The Peak has a good restaurant and a shopping arcade .... along with other small tourist sovenier shops ..... But the best part of the place is walk

around the peak , there are places from where there is an awesome panaromic view of the island and many of the sky sc
rapers are at eye level even thought we are on top of the hill.

There are may HK
natives who come all the the way every evening to have a jog aound the peak... The food had a blend of SE Asian and Chinese. Most of my meals here was Noodles :) with a twist :) . HK is not just about the peak ..... there is a huge Disney Land .... and a tram

which takes you all the way to DL .... but my iteneary was tooo tight to fitin DL . HK as an island has a huge shore line and here we can see many personal yarts and boats .... some like Pirate once .
The evenue or stars which is just a 5min boat ride from the main island is an answer to hollywoods "Walk of Fame" .... i

t has many blocks (with mettal stars) dedicated to Film stars .... Its a must do and the word goes that if Jackie Chan is in town he is here having a strawl and meeting his fans who queup for his autograph.... no luck with me but I did shake hands with him ...... virtually :P pics here.... There is a store dedicated to Bruce Lee which offers a vide range of soveniers from trademark White dress which Lee used to wear, his movie DVD collectios and others...

Once you are in the awenue of stars do not miss the light symphony which is held every day from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM there is music played and the lights are switched on most of the skyscrapers and motion of the lights are synchronised to the tune which is played... My Stay in HK was fun filled, would love to go back once more to visti HK Disney land .... which I missed out
